Artist Statement

The strength of simple lines, fascinates me, how can I take a complicated issues and distill it down to the preciseness of its essence. This is what excites and drives me in my designs.

Trained as a designer, I learned to work with concepts and problem solving. My heart connects me to spirit and the earth. These elements work well together when creating a design that reflects the essence of another. I see uniqueness in people and as I create I work to marry the materials, interrupting what I see, responding to the guidance given by the materials. I create this intent using recycled materials of wood, concrete, glass, ceramic tile and metal.

What you see now is the explorations of a new product line I am developing. These totems and sculptures are the beginning of a story I wish to tell.
